It is a very old and gorgeous piece, a work by the 11th Imaizumi Imaemon.It has an inscription on the back, and it appears to have been purchased in Arita in 1908 by the owner of a rice shop. It says the owner of the Horimachi rice shop, but after various investigations, I think it was a rice shop in Shimabara Castle Town. There are no scratches or other damage. There is old paper in the cushioning material, one from the Edo period and the other from the Meiji period.
